The Hope for Basketball
I think I want to write about a time when the weather mattered. One time I was playing basketball in my driveway, and it started sprinkling very lightly. So I continued to keep playing and I went inside to get a drink.
Suddenly when I came back outside it was pouring rain heavily and it flooded my backyard all the way up to my house! I really wanted to play basketball with my friends that day but I was very dubious. With my buddies Cade, John, and Michael, and it was a beautiful day. We took our chances of the rain passing us so we could enjoy and keep having fun playing the game we loved even though they were very slim. Our problem was the rain/weather. We needed to find a solution for this because we would really like to play the greatest sport ever in my opinion! So I had a thought, I decided to text my coach and ask if he could open the basketball gymnasium for us. He responded and said he could open it for us and my day got a whole lot better. So we drove there, met my coach, and walked in to get better. We walked onto the court, and the floor was suave and nice looking. I couldn’t wait to play and have a great time with my friends.
Sadly; the weather wasn’t in my favor that day it would have been a less stressful and an enjoyable day! I took my chances and ended up on the bad end of the deal but I had to do what I needed to do, so I could play the game I loved.
