Now before I begin, let me put you into my perspective and way of thought. The topic of shoes at first portrays a subtle image of a daily basic use and some material which goes on your feet as protection. Further developed from the base of protection, comes the sense of fashion and personal interest. Shoes to the basic person may be nothing but a cheap item which should last long, but for me its different. A shoe to me, is a personal interest in paths of culture, history, brand, money the "hype" factor. It started of with a simple pair of vans, which caught my eyes and complete attention. It was beautiful, and the way people looked at them and gave appreciation filled my soul with happiness to another level. Starting back 2 years ago with that one pair of shoes, I decided that the shoe game would take me on. It wasnt all about owning expensive shoes to brag and show off(although a portion of it was) and to just sell and make money; It was a form of enjoyment and at the same time, a job to keep me occupied. I started of being the person to come to for shoes which sold out in a second, and that helped bring in capital and a base of money to start my collecting. Months and months of building on small amounts of pre-orders or getting people shoes for them helped me buy my first pair of shoes with my own money. This level of contentment was undescribable and kept me motivated to keep going. Selling that shoe boosted my confidence to scope out which next pair to buy. Along the path, there were negative factors such as scammers which surpressed my movement for quite a while and caused me to restart from where I came from. Keep in mind, this requires smart play and knowledge of what your investing in on a grassroot level, to not flop on your plans. This constant base of reselling shoes brought in loads of money for my eyes, and kept a constant income of profit and collection additons. Now, on this day, I still continue this job of reselling and happy to own or owned 50-100 pairs and continously growning. Each shoe other than this reselling motive, is based of a certain event, person, culture etc.. This extra layer of complexity helps one appreciate it even more, and turn something materialistic into an object which recieves care from the user. To the average person, this seems like a tedious waste of time and nothing but stupidity of the society, but to us sneakerheads, we view it as a lifestyle. Its not all about the money, its about personal interest which is what first motivated me along with many other people similar to me. Do what pleases you, and play it smart. This world is huge and everyone may be doing what you do; Stand out by thinking out of the box and putting in work to what gives you pleasure.

I wrote this piece as a simple explanation to what I like to do(collect and sell shoes) and give a word from my perspective as to what it is like. Lately , Ive been called dumb, stupid and tried to be put down for wasting my time by friends and even family. Never has the average person understood why I put so much time into something as "simple" as a shoe, but hopefully they get an idea of why from this small piece.
