Music Saves Lives
About two years ago, two evemts happened in my life that changed my life forever. My father and I got into a fight over text and my "best friend" told me that everyone hated me. After these things happened, I did something that to this day I am still not proud of. I started self harming. That and music were the only things that relieved the pain. Of course I contemplated suicide but music saved me. I can recall countless hours of listening to Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and countless other bands. Counseling helped a lot too. My point is that music is what kept me alive and music was what was always there for me.
