Love Story
Rebecca, a 18 year old girl, steps down out of her gray Dodge truck and slowly shuts the door after she says bye to her mom. She hesitates walking forward with the big group of all the other kids rushing in the four front doors, so they wouldn’t be late. As she finally takes her first steps, she stops to take a deep breathe and continues walking. In her head there are a lot of different thoughts racing through her head about how her first day will go. Her head keeps replaying the same thought over and over again, “I hope I don’t have to get up in front of my class!”. The smell of fresh paper and pencils starts to give her a headache as soon as she walks in.
She walks down the hallway looking for her locker. Before she gets there she accidentally runs into a guy, all of her thoughts focus on him. She tries to break the awkward eye contact between them but it was like her head and eyes were locked up in chains. She hears everybody else rushing to class right as the tardy bell rings. She can’t seem to move, so she just stands there staring at the boy. Rebecca feels as if she had just run a marathon because of her loss of breath. Their eye contact finally breaks and her eyes immediately focus on a cane that has just slammed down. As she slowly looks up the cane she realizes it’s her English teacher, Mrs. Scott. “I was running late and i accidentally ran into this boy and dropped all of my books” Rebecca stutters. “You two, get in my class right now!” Mrs. Scott yells. The two sprint as fast as they can into the class trying to avoid making eye contact with their teacher. When they got into the classroom they both sat in the two open seats in the back of the room next to each other. Mrs. Scott walks in right after them and sees them sitting together right away. She continues to teach the class, while the two in the back talk the whole time.
She survives that day and the rest of her senior year with Jake by her side. After their last year of high school is over they both go to different colleges but stay together. When they graduate college they move in together. Jake and Rebecca are very happy together and one night while they were eating dinner at their favorite restaurant something extraordinary happened. Jake got down on one knee and proposed. Rebecca starts crying with tears of joy, humps of to hug him and says yes! They both lived the rest of their lives together happily married.
