Attention Pays

Jimmy and our family were looking at our new house. Jimmy was starting kindergarden and just learning how to sleep through the night without a night light.

Me and my brother were looking at our new rooms when our mom called us both into the unfamiliar room that appeared to be the livingroom.

She had told us to check out our future backyard. I said alright as my brother was "lost in his own world" is what my mom called it, I tapped him.

As he slowly looked back in my direction, I was already on my way to thank my mom with a hug for the new house.

When Jimmy scanned the room, at first he saw the kitchen, then an empty corner, then a chimmney, then a seethrough sliding glass door. Before a thought went throough his mind, he ran like it as nuber one on his to-do list. All at once everyone heard a gigantic "BANG" then we all look at Jimmy and he's on the ground holding his face and my mom slides out of my arms to help him up as he was crying and everyone got worried to see if he was okay my dad said, " You need to pay more attention next time". Everyone agreed including Jimmy and that was the last time he would run outside through an doorway.

This story inpired me because if something comes into your life and you ignore the possiblilites while paying no attention then atleast a couple opportunities that were wasted on some thing you thought was better.

So, if this was written in quote then it would read... If there are chances or opportunities then take them.
