so long
“Haven, come here please,” yells my Dad!
“What do you want,” I shouted.
“Come here, it’s important,” my Dad replied.
I slowly walk out of my room into the living room. I had an anxious look on my face because it’s not normal for my parents to tell me to come here. Unless I’m in trouble, I was thinking what I did to get in trouble. I couldn’t think of anything I did. I just walked in and sat on the cold leather couch. When I was sitting there, I didn’t know what to do or where to look. I had wandering eyes didn’t know where to look. My parents were just starring at each other like they were frozen. My dad was shaking his head I didn’t know what was happening. Then my dad took a deep breath like he was about to scream and then he, started to mumble “Don’t be sad they will come back pretty soon.” I had no clue what he was talking about. There was a short pause, but it seemed like it was an hour pause.
I asked, “What are you talking about?”
“Well your Grandparents have moved back to Indiana,” my dad whispered.
My heart was crushed, I felt like someone grabbed my heart and squeezed it and didn’t let go. You know that feeling when you see a dog you want but you can’t get it. That’s exactly what I felt but, ten times worse. Imagine people you mainly lived with your whole childhood, just gone. My parents say they left because they want to be with the rest of the family. But we all know the real reason why they left. Their life is almost over, so they want to die where they were born.
I mean why did they have to leave why couldn’t they stay here. They can’t even pay for them self when they are living with us, so how do they think that they can pay for them self in Indiana. I’m not going to make a big deal out of it, because I still love them.
