Why Should We Love Again

It is getting kind difficult adjusting to this lifestyle --- no one here to hear me out so I just write it down.  Since the last one, I promised myself not to love again.  No fun being broken hearted -- it was hard to trust a friend so I just pretended like life was going fine.  I never put a smile on, even though I know I got the world.  But people in it are getting in between us.  Why can’t we just agree?  Why are people in life so adamant?  That night, I remember I felt like you’re the one -- I didn’t want to tell you, and I was never good at speaking up.  I want you to be happy --- happy that you’re with me.  You know that I got your back so don’t even worry about supporting me.  You changed my life and made me a better person.  Sometimes, when you ask me how I feel, Dionisia,   you are my everything.  Our one year anniversary is coming and I hope I have the power to tell you this is how that I had written it down.  I love you baby and I will always be there for you, Dionisia, my love.  It’s getting blurry and life is getting distorted – I’m always in the studio working and recording.  I don’t need to prove that I need you to take care of me; sometimes wondering if you think you’re too good to stay here.  I will be there for you and the world won’t see it, but between you and me, we have the perfect love.  In one word, your name, Dionisia, to me you’re totally worth it. When I look at you I see a different kind of beauty, even though you did pursue me.  But you didn’t see right through me -- I can see it in your eyes and you’re in my mind all the time.  But I gotta stay on the grind because you bring me back. I got you on my iPod, got you on replay – I just want you to understand that just knowing that you’re gone, then the moon tonight isn’t going to be the same. Your side and my side was designed to be. Just find out where you’re at, girl; you are my life! Without you, I am nothing.
