This summer I did lots of exciting things! I got my show pigs, went to places I have never been before and did things for the first time. This took time, lots and Lots of time. I’m not one that usually likes to spend my time sleeping, or sit around and watch TV. After this year I wanted to.  I spent most of my time on the road. My summer vacation was amazing; I was either at the barn with my new show animals or traveling.
Exactly 23 days before I left for my first time to Illinois with my best friend Jeryn, I got a text message from my agricultural teacher. The text read” Myanna, your animals are now at the barn and you may start feeding tonight.”  I was so happy that I could now go see my goat and my hog, I ran to go tell my mom and she was just as thrilled as I was. We got up there and there they were. Right then and there I named them.  Maggie would be my hogs name and Paisley would be the goats. It was them and I against the world.
23 days later I was off for my first time to Illinois. You would think it looks different but it’s just a fancier Arkansas. The first then we did was swim, mostly because it was hot. The next couple of days we went golfing, (which for me it was a first) it was actually pretty fun.
Then we had to shower and get cleaned up and also pack up because we had our first photo shoot! It was so fun and excited but after that we had to go back to Arkansas. Thanks for a great summer 2K14. It was the best one ever.
