The day my family and I went to the US Open in New York, Flushing Meadows, I knew it was going to be a special day! As we walked in Louis Armstrong Stadium, we see world no.1, Novak Djokovic. Even though we didn't get his autograph, I was still glad just to watch him practice and try to emulate his astounding technique. Then, the great Roger Federer walked on the court to practice for an hour. But it only felt like 5 minutes!
After his 1-hour practice session, he went all around Louis Armstrong Stadium signing hats, shirts, and magazines. Roger got closer, and closer. Before you knew it, he was 10 feet away from us.
“Hey dad!” I exclaimed! “He’s coming, get the hats out!” My dad and I were leaning over the edge begging him to sign our hats. Here it goes.
"Roger! Roger! Father and son here!" my dad and I exclaimed.

“Come on Roger, 18 grand slams! I believe in you.” I exclaimed in joy.

“Thank you, thank you,” he replied. My dad and I walked out of Louis Armstrong with smiles bigger than the world.

“ I can’t believe it, we got our hat’s signed by ROGER FEDERER!” I declared in joy. My dad and I were about to erupt into a million pieces! My family and I walked out of Flushing Meadow’s with great satisfaction and we were anticipating coming back tomorrow.
