I am Sure many people play sports that they enjoy like People who like to run until the puke ether cross country or maybe track, Those who liked to fall over and over again flat on there face probably enjoy gymnastics, But the one sport i am talking that i am so surprised you don't have to wear helmets and knee pads, is basketball.
Your probably thinking "wow Basketball is not that hard and people aren't that aggressive" but i am here to tell you that you are wrong. The basketball I am talking about is middle school girls basketball. i have been playing basketball for over 9 years and i have played in more basketball games that i can even count, but what i have noticed is that the older i got the more aggressive and scary the sport got! Many girls on my team have got multiple concussions from being thrown to the floor by crazy players on the other team. 2 Girls on my team this year have both sprained there ankles and have been out for about 2 months now. But i don't have much room to complain, i am one of those crazy basketball girls! but i can usually control myself for a little bit...

Many of the guys that go to my school have come to watch our games and even say how aggressive how girls basketball is. One of the worst things about playing basketball is floor burn, ask any Basketball player and i am almost certain every one will know exactly how bad floor burn hurts. If you do not know what floor burn is, i shall explain: Floor Burn is when your knees, elbows, maybe even your hip are scrapped against the gym floor and the skin is rubbed raw. Floor Burn is very painful and literally is a burn from the gym floor.

So if there are any young middle school girls all excited for playing basketball for the first time ever! I really hope you read this piece and know exactly what you are getting yourself into!
