Safe Zone
The only place where I feel safe is trapped up in my head. I can dream and think of wonderful things and still be completely safe. No one bothers me in my thoughts. It's just me. My safe zone allows me to forget who I am and leave the cruel world behind. I can enter a world of peace, all in my head. It's just me. I can laugh and smile. I can be someone different for a while and not worry about people judging me. No one is there to tell me it's all a dream. I believe it's real because it is all so perfect.
In that moment, that rear sweet moment, I am safe. Safe and sound, all alone in my safe zone.
