My Window
My window. From my window I wait for the car. All hours of the night I wait to see the white top and red body. My chariot, it’s one of a kind. I wait for them to get out in a cool, almost arrogant way. I wait from my window for the image of an escape to appear. Both of them so elegant and his tall figure next to their empress like qualities. I wait for them to save me from this good behavior. Take me away to some place I shouldn’t go and set me free. I wait from my window.
