Dear Dad
First I want to say how sorry I am for the grief that I've caused
That I blame it one the memories that I don't have held tight in my fingers
You remember our bond, so does Beth, and Mom
But for the life of me I can not grasp that love
To me your an alien now
Not because you have changed
No you really haven't
But because those times that we had shared that aren't with me anymore
Please don't feel too bad
I can't remember Mom either when I was small
And if you want to know a secret
Half the conversations I have with my cousins are one-sided
My memory is at fault here
And if it can be fixed...no one has told me
I'd do anything to regain the love we had shared
That made me "Daddy's Little Girl"
