My Grandma
You woke up in the morning and went down stairs. You saw the cookies she made for you every-time you visited her. You wondered how many more times your 80 year old grandma would be able to make them. Your Dad always said you could tell how healthy she was by how quickly she ate the chocolates you brought her every time. It was almost a week and they were barely touched. You looked at her tired face and you knew. You left that night and started preparing yourself for the bad news you were sure you were going to get. But weeks later when your dad told you, you still went numb, because even though you knew, you never stopped praying for a miracle.
