The greatest food in the world comes from a restaurant just outside of Yosemite Valley. After a long, excruciating day of hiking, we decided to journey out and get food. The restaurant was on a beautiful river and tucked in a dense and mysterious forest. Although the forest had a slightly spooky feel, it was extremely calming to be in a place that was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.  We sat on the outside porch with ginormous trees growing through the large deck. Everything seemed to be bigger in this forest. It felt like we were living in a world of giants. The giants were the trees, I could feel their breath howling through the air and watched as their arms flailed with the wind. “A lemonade please,” the perfect drink after the long hike. The waiter came back and I asked, “Could I please have a chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun.” The food came in a red basket as bright as the sun with waffle fries. The pretzel bun and chicken combo was perfect. It was by far the best chicken and bread combo I have ever had. The fries were perfectly crispy but not too crunchy. After eating we drove snaking through the mountainside to a lookout. We watched the sun set over Yosemite Valley, an astonishing sight. As the red-hot sun set into the night, its reflection lit up the mountains behind it. A shine so bright it was like a spotlight the size of the sun was directed at the mountains.
