Hope is in the Air
I often wonder what life would be like if at certain milestones, things went a different way. Those milestones being, birth or even the case of custody. But the odd part of the wonders of the past is that there will never be an answer worthy of complete belief. Because at the end of the day all this is, is “if’s.” No one can ever fully believe them, but will always give too much attention and time to the if’s of the future and past.
If there is one thing that I have learned throughout my constantly-evolving life, it is that the state of one’s life will never be the same as it once was. Life was meant to change for the better and sometimes the worst. These changes will be the last and first thought, before bed and rising for the day. Instead of this daunting- painful change, it becomes this beautiful reminder that we all have a purpose and other prospectus of adventure in our lives. No change is comparable to others of our own or others. Our lives are one to value and not take too seriously, it is a painfully-brutal reminder that the state of life is temporary. However, this transition in the mind will evolve from being hurtful to generous, the state of life being temporary is not one to take gently, it gives one another chance for another life, another adventure in waiting.
No path, person, occupation, education, and country can be determined as the one. But all can become the one for us when we believe it as such. Hope isn’t a tactic to use in the form of continuing delusion; it's for use to set ourselves for more. Once we believe in the characteristics of life that we have been so gracefully given by god, then we can continue to live life as it was intended, a chance for our next step to be one of choosing.

I often lose sight of how generous life has been to me, regardless of the "bad" events. Life is rewarding but also taken as stressful and difficult. Life is everything that people think it is. However, the only way we can control how we view life is by our mindsets. I, myself, try to control many of the uncontrollable characteristics of life, writing became my control. This piece, in whatever category it falls in from a readers point of view, is my own beacon of reminder that life is what we make it.
