Why you Should Listen to your Parents
One day in the evening of spring after school I had decided to play outside with some friends of mine. While my friend Marcos and I had invited two others, Yurem and Gabriel to play outside, they were busy eating lunch and told us they would come out after they eat, so we decided to leave the area in which I could play to get another friend.
While we had thought it would only take a moment I was wrong in assuming that, for it had taken more than fifteen minutes and my other friends Yurem and Gabriel had come out by then. They were wondering where I had gone off to. They then went and knocked on my door to ask my parents if I was inside but when my parents heard that they questioned them for they did not know where I was at the moment.
After finding out that Yurem and Gabriel didn’t know where I was they grew increasingly worried not knowing whether I had just wandered off or had gotten abducted. After talking with my friends they began to search the neighborhood for me wondering where I had gone. They had tried calling my phone but I had left it at home and they had no way of contacting me.
After searching for at least twenty minutes they had finally found me and were angry that I had disappeared. Once they had taken me home they had grounded me and as I was oblivious to how worried they had gotten for I had assumed that I would be gone for only a moment I questioned them as to why I was being grounded.
They had told me how worried they had become not knowing if something had happened and them fearing for the worst. I had finally understood what I had put them through and told them I was regretful for my actions and said to never do it again, I then underwent my punishment of being grounded for two weeks.
