Exemption of a Dull Life

Being able to look out the window in the morning and gaze upon the dew hovering over the grass, it fills me with joy that I am here on this planet to be able to see such detailed things on this earth. How about opening a book for the first time after taking it out of its thin plastic wrapping, the smell of the pages and the stickiness of each page as they haven't been separated before? If these don't mean much to you, what about the feeling when a special someone says something to you and you feel your heart disappear from your chest for a single moment?

If we take these things for granted, looking past them, ignoring them like they aren't even there, we can’t appreciate life to the absolute fullest. If one day I woke up and lost the ability to see these little things, my life would be as dull as the colors painted among the smoke rising from a factory.

Dull, so very dull this life would be to live without the small things.

This piece is simply just work based on my favorite things in life I couldn't imagine living without.
