I know my past self would cringe hearing this, but if I could say anything I'd tell myself to keep improving and trying. As overused as it is, in order to grow you need to make mistakes. It's going to take time and it's going to hurt. It's the same as anything else, building a house or building your body. It's never quick. Stop looking in the mirror every chance you get, and focus on the long-term. You need to learn to trust the process as well as yourself. Stick to your diet and exercise. Stop looking at the scale every night and beating yourself up about it, know that things are changing. You aren’t doing this for anyone but yourself. Pressure is a privilege. It's too easy to scroll through your phone, compare yourself, and rip into yourself. Keep your head down and get done what you need to do. Good luck

My name is Alex B, Im currently a senior in high school. I started my fitness journey at 110 pounds. The stress of family and class built up and I coped with it in unhealthy ways. That was 2 years ago, and I've since put on over 50 pounds of healthy weight. I've improved the way I eat and sleep and have started to help my family and friends reach their health goals as well. I've never looked for felt better before and I can't wait to see where I go from here.
