When my waist gets submerged into the water, that's when it starts to get bad. I am with my friends at Kohler Andrae state park, swimming in Lake Michigan in early summer. The water is freezing cold, but we decided to go swimming anyway. The cold is what makes it fun, I love the adrenaline rush I get when I plunge into the water. I love riding the waves, and discovering sandbars to stand on far from the shore. I love walking miles down the shoreline, finding a spot where it is just us and nature. I love getting back to camp and settling in for a nice campfire and night, where the best conversations happen. That is why I love Wisconsin.

Wisconsin is a state with a lot to offer. It is home to beautiful natural scenery, great local businesses, friendly people, and a rich history.

One of the best things about Wisconsin is the natural beauty. The state is home to many breathtaking parks, forests, and lakes. I particularly like visiting Devil’s Lake, Kohler Andrae, and the forests and lakes in Minocqua. There are plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and camping. The scenery when the leaves change color in the fall is breathtaking. In the winter, the snow creates opportunities for snowboarding and skiing. The natural beauty of
Wisconsin is special.

I also love Wisconsin people. The people here are friendly and welcoming. There is a strong sense of community, and people are always willing to help each other out. Whether it’s lending a hand with a project, such as pulling off incredible honors flights for our veterans, or simply being there for someone in need, the people of Wisconsin are always supportive of each other and proud to call themselves Wisconsonites.

Wisconsin is also known for its delicious and unique food. We are famous for our cheese, bratwurst, and beer. There are also many other amazing local foods, including friday fish fry, cheese curds, and kringle. My favorite place for fish fry is The Boathouse in Minocqua.

Finally, Wisconsin is home to fantastic colleges and universities. The UW system is one of the best in the country, and there are great private schools as well, such as Marquette, Concordia, and Lawrence. These schools provide excellent education opportunities, and they are also a great place to meet great lifelong friends.

In conclusion, Wisconsin is a fantastic place to live. From the outdoor adventures mentioned in the introduction, to the fantastic food, people, and great education opportunities, few states can compare.
