Letter to My Dad

Dear Dad,

Believe it or not you are the person I look up to most in life. You have taught me endless amounts of lessons in life and I can not thank you enough for the life you have put into place for me. I have always wanted to please you and make sure that all that I do would make you proud of me. I want for you to look at me and see all the effort that I put into myself. You are the hardest working people I know. It has not always been easy raising me, but you put me, my needs, my wants, my problems, my future first every single day. While reading a novel in class, Animal Farm, there was a character that truly resembled you in my eyes. That would be Old major. He is the leader of the farm who holds the responsibility of all of those around him as well as their respect. In addition to that, he is a true inspiration to others and encourages them to be the best version of themselves. You are the Old Major in my life and I want you to know that your efforts do not go unnoticed, and you will forever have my respect for the opportunities you have given me. You inspire me day in and day out to present the best version of myself in all that I do.

Love,

The girl that looks up to you most

The author's comments:

Growing up, I have always valued me and my dads relationship, and after reading the book I felt a connection between Old Major's impact on the other animals in comparison to my dad's impact on me.
