Seeing Clear

Sometimes, I forget to clean my glasses. I’ll walk through the week, the lenses getting dirtier and dirtier until I can’t see the far away whiteboard, or my eyes begin to cross. At that point, my vision gets blurry, and splotches obstruct my view. It’s that time, I’d think. Then I’d run the glasses through water and rub them with a cloth. When I’d put the glasses back on, the world would seem so much more vibrant. I’d cherish that feeling, as if I forgot what seeing clear was like.
