My dad and I both brainstormed what could be a sense of wonder.  Then we both thought about our trip up north.  After that, we thought about how we saw a lot of stars in the sky.  We thought it was a good idea to write about and we began to describe the event as accurately as possible.  The tricky part was remembering what was happening at that exact moment.  That didn’t stop us from brainstorming.

My dad has been in nature multiple times so we both appreciated nature in our own ways.  We spend a lot of time outside doing yard work and other activities.  Some of my family works outdoors, so they also have experienced nature.  Most of my family has had some experience with nature.

After a successful day of fishing, my dad, grandpa, uncle, cousin, and I went back to the cottage and sat around the fire pit.  The flames moved like orange streamers in the night sky.  After a while, my grandpa and cousin went inside to get ready for bed.  My uncle, dad, and I stayed to go stargazing because there were many stars in the sky.  Back home there were never this many stars in the sky.  We stared at the stars for a long time.  My uncle and dad were trying to find images in the stars, kind of like how a child looks at a cloud and sees a person or an imaginary monster.  My dad suggested we turn some of the lights in the cottage off to get a better look at the stars which I did.  It was beginning to get cold so we decided to head inside and get ready for bed.
