Holding The Door For Someone In Need
When I was at the Brookfield Mall, we were about to leave after buying many clothes, books, and other things. We were about to drive out of the parking lot then all of the sudden, we saw a man pushing a huge cart full of boxes towards the doors of the mall. Being the kind and caring person she is, my mom pulled the car over and insisted that I go and hold the door open for the man. I looked around to see If anyone else was rushing to help the man. Realizing that nobody else was helping the man, I got out of the car and ran as fast as I could towards the man.
I quickly opened the door for the man but there was another issue. There was a second door blocking the man's way. So we maneuvered the cart so I could get the door open and he could get through the second door. After that, the man thanked me for holding the doors which I replied with “your welcome”. As I was walking back to the car, I felt proud of myself for holding the door for the man with the huge cart.
When I got back in the car, my mom thanked me for helping the man with the cart. During the car ride home, my mom and I were having a conversation about doing the right thing, and helping people in need. When we got home, we told my dad what happened at the mall.
