My oldest dog Sophie is 9 years old. She is the sweetest dog you will ever meet and thankfully some people rescued her and her siblings from a serious situation. Sophie's mom was trained to be a dog fighter. In dog fighting when the dogs fight the winner is whoever stays alive and the loser is whoever gets killed first. 

Sophie was super tiny to dog fight when her mom was fighting and was too young to be a dog fighter but knew that it was going to be her future. Sadly Sophie's mom died through dog fighting and the pups were saved from fighting. 

The people who ran the dog fighting business got busted and into huge trouble. Sophie and her siblings were put up for adoption on this app pet finder. Sophie's siblings were adopted fast but we were fortunate enough to meet Sophie and one of her brothers. My whole family fell in love with Sophie the second we met her. She was so shy when we met her and would hide behind chairs or place herself in the corner. Her brother on the other hand was jumping all over the place and was crazy. After a while Sophie warmed up to us and my whole family was already calling her our dog. 

Sophie is now ten years old and has a sister who is our new addition to the family named clover. Clover is also a rescue dog but the lady just told us that her and her many siblings were found on the side of the road. Clover is very cute but she is a devil and always waiting for attention. Rescuing two dogs has made my family very happy not only with two cute dogs in our house but knowing we saved them in a sense and gave them a home.
