Get a job.

Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Earn money and make a living for yourself.

To start off, a little bit of discipline in life is good. Making your bed starting at a young age is a good habit to increase productivity to begin the day. When you are productive you are likely to do better in school. Doing well in school can lead to going to a good college. And doing well at a prestigious university can make getting a job much easier and much more accessible. Once you have obtained your dream job you begin to make money and make a living for yourself.

Life is full of instructions. It seems as if it's almost a cookbook. You must follow specific instructions to achieve optimal results. If you go off track by just a little bit it could ruin the whole dish. It feels as if some days, you don’t want to make brownies. Instead, maybe you want to make chocolate cake instead. To do this you must alter instructions in the recipe. The same can be said for doing well in school. With a dash of discipline and a few cups of hard work, your grades and performance in the classroom will flourish. On pen and paper it might seem as if life has a carved path, for specific instructions straight out of a cookbook, but in reality, you must write your own directions. So many minute and major decisions are bestowed upon us everyday and we are forced to deal with them. Every decision in life we make we create our own recipe. Results however may depend on the person.

I am a high school senior and thought that this personal piece would be interesting to share. Some high school seniors may be in the same shoes as this story.
