The Art of Love
The art of love isn't what it appears to be, for if the generations before me see what I've seen, they'd be absolutely mortified scared even for the art of love isn't Sunday night dinners or picnics on a beach its a text saying "hey do you want to get freaky" it's not goodnight kisses or late night calls it's booty calls and unsolicited pics that we didn't even ask for. growing up I've known the art of love to be a beautiful thing for it's marrying your one true love now it's late-night hookups with the girl you met at a club. Often I wish I was born in another time for it could be different I wouldn't just be some toy for everyone to play with or want to touch I would be a girl worthy of love, an emotional connection deeper than the skin someone should want me for my personality, not for my looks. Alas this is only a wish for the time I'm in cannot change and the boys' hearts do not disdain.
