SACRAMENTO , MY HOME

Sacramento, my home is a very humble space for neighborhoods to walk down the street and make friends and blow on the soft dandelions wishing for the ice cream truck to come by. I wake up from my bunk bed watching the ferris wheel spin around while my clock is ticking. Dumping my face in cold sparkling water while bumping to some Tupac specifically Keep Ya Head Up. During the day , I get ready and go downstairs to ride scooters around the bridge with friends and just enjoy the nice sunset kissing my skin while the weather glides across my skin.

Not a very shocking thing to say but I wish my home was like this. I live in Meadowview where the sound of fireworks aren't really fireworks. You can walk in the  gloomy streets and see hobos walking around looking for oranges to steal from hunger. The ghetto neighborhoods where you hear nothing but yelling outside and see things like used dry condoms and homeless people peeing on your lawn. You can walk around with your most unslutty outfit and still feel harrased just by the look of what others bring you.  A very nerve racking place where if you reject what others want you wouldn't be anywhere but on the news.

Not to scare you but this ghetto environment could be better. Walking in a dark scary neighborhood is like a dark pathway that gives you the anxiety of walls closing in on you , always looking back and running to where you need to go. A life where you can´t feel nothing but reality slapping you in the face like cold water splashing you telling you to wake up. Being in Meadowview is like an everyday usual thing , you experience things you'd never forget. For example , hookers are walking down in the cracked black streets finding someone to get it with.

Crazy but this is the reality of a nightmare. The good things are hard to look for like the 4 leaf clover but overall sometimes they don´t disappoint. It's rare to find good things happening in a neighborhood where there´s bitten cookies and orange peels on the floor everywhere. It's like a dumpster but without a trash can. Overall , I wouldn't recommend you living in Meadowview , Sacramento where your nightmare is my reality.
