It is wild that such a small act can make a huge impact on someone’s day, I can remember it like it was yesterday, I woke up late for school, which my mom wasn’t too happy about because that meant she had to take me, making it school only about 5 minutes late I raced into class only to remember I have a test that day my teacher says to sit down and grab a test so that I do I look down at it and I am absolutely stunned there is nothing on this that I even know. I start to just take reasonable guesses on the test walking out of the class knowing that I did not do well. I go to my next class in a bad mood, just dreading this day as a whole, I just can’t wait to go home and have a new day. I go through my day one bad thing after another. The day finally comes to an end and I go to grab something to eat after school because I have to come back to school for a football practice which I already don’t want to go to. When I reach the drive-through the person that takes your order sounds very energetic and happy to be there which already puts me in a better mood. I get up to the pay window and I am told that the car in front of me had paid for my meal. I was shocked to see this, and I think to myself everything happens for a reason, with that one action by someone else my entire mood had changed entirely, I have to say things happen for a reason. I go back to school for the practice and enjoy every second of it and at the same time try to make someone else’s day better just by holding a door for them or just saying kind words, the one experience I had flipped my whole day around and now I want to do that for someone else when they may be having a bad day.
