                                                         The haunted house 

         In 2014 my family had a terrible bug problem in our house. We would see up to 5 bugs a day in our house. It was very disgusting. A Lot of people will say it's just some bugs, but what they didn’t know was what kind of bugs they were. It was so bad that we went from seeing 5 bugs a day to seeing 15 bugs a day. They were big nasty hairy bugs and they were big. So we decided we should move. My parents were looking for new homes and they found this amazing house that had palm trees around it and the greenest grass ive ever seen. We were so excited that we started packing out things to get ready to move the next day.

            The first day we moved there it was so packed that if you wanted to step over something to get to the other side of the house you wouldn’t be able to because everyone had to unpack their things. The second day was when I realized there was something going on in the house because my family left for a quick second to go to the grocery store and I had to stay home with our  2 dogs. I was in the family room watching a tv series and all of a sudden I saw a black shadow pass me. At first I thought it was a joke, but then the TV cut off. While I was trying to see what was wrong with the TV, me and my dogs  heard a loud boom and that's when I knew something weird was going on. I really knew after my dogs started barking and sniffing.

            Once my family got back from the grocery store I told them exactly what happened, but of course they didn’t  believe me at all. I think they didn't believe me because we play like that sometimes. 

The next day we were having movie night in the family room and the same exact thing happened, but it was new to them. It was  like déjà vu to me, but after it happened they believed me. 

We had to be smart and we hired a ghost hunter. When the ghost hunter came, they had  to interview  us to see what's going on. They asked us multiple questions like, When Did it first start? When was the last time it happened? Is that the only thing that's been happening? Days after the interview everything was good, nothing was happening so we thought we were ok and told the ghost hunter they did not have to come back but little did we know it wasn't over. 

The day after they announced that they didn't need to come so more weird things were happening like bad dreams, hearing noises, and seeing things. It was so bad I was seeing ghosts in my dreams. At our old house I had nothing but good dreams but at this house I'm having nothing but bad dreams and we just moved into this house. I was so paranoid before going to sleep and they say you should never go to sleep scared or that can make you have a scary dream. Maybe that's why I was having bad dreams.

The ghost hunters  came back into our house and investigated our house. Come to find out there was no ghost in our house, so we were all confused about what was happening. I realized throughout this whole thing my older sister wasn't really scared, or didn't have a surprised or scared reaction. 

            After I realized that, I told my parents and came to find out it was a prank. I was extremely mad because I was so scared when all of this was happening, especially when I was at home by myself the first night. If they think that's the end it's not. They started prank wars in our brand new house.
