Ice Skating
I have been ice skating since I was 5 or 6 with my Dad. I vaguely remember the first time that I went Ice Skating I have always loved ice skating. The feeling of gliding across the ice on a couple pieces of metal strapped to your feet. The first time that I went ice skating I remember my dad taking me to Frantz Lake and teaching me how to put on my skates. I looked around and noticed the slight breeze blowing through the tall cottonwood trees that surrounded the frozen pond. Then he gave me a camping chair to hold onto for stability. I remember pushing myself around with the chair. Once I felt I had good balance I let go of the camping chair and started to skate around. Since then I have learned to ice skate without anything to support me and I have learned to play hockey with my Dad and my friends. I think that ice skating will always be a part of me and I hope to one day teach my children how to skate.
