Little Black Car

As a young child, you don’t really think to notice the small things. A few years ago, my best friend and I were putting our dishes away when we both saw a small car drive by a few times. She lived with her grandparents, Uncle (Ben), Aunt (Katie), and little sister (Rachel). Her grandparents were out of town that night so her aunt and uncle we’re keep an eye on us. We didn’t think much of it because we we’re in a good neighborhood, and people drive through it all the time. My best friend and I went back outside to continue playing with chalk. We were playing a game of tic tac toe when we noticed the car drove by again but this time they parked across the street at the park facing towards us. At this point we got a little spooked so we gathered all of our things and decided to keep ourselves occupied inside.

Jordyn didn’t want to tell Aunt Katie or Uncle Ben because she feared that they wouldn’t believe us. Around 9pm we completely forgot all about the little car until we walked in the kitchen to find her aunt staring outside with a weird look on her face. She called Jordyn’s uncle over and told him that there were people in that car with all black on and looking right at her. Once we finally told her that they have been driving by the house for the past 3 hours she told us to go get her little sister. We all got near a living room window where they couldn’t really see us to keep an eye on what they were doing. After another 30 minutes of just standing there her aunt suggests we call the cops because she was starting to get really freaked out.

We had tried to get a hold of her grandmother but we got no response. Katie was over it so she had contacted the police but 15 minutes later no one was there to check up on us or to see what was going on. Her Uncle Ben was very frustrated at this point so he decided to take the matter into his own hands. He went upstairs, grabbed a baseball bat and walked through the front door. Right as he opened the front door and they realized he had a bat, and sped off. Instead of him coming back inside they told us to turn off all the lights in the house and hide in the closet where the gun safe was just incase they broke in. He sat in his car until he saw them come by again. Then he turned on his truck and chased them until he was able to block off a road so they couldn’t pass by him. He got out of his truck and went up to the window showing them the baseball bat letting them know if they came back again he would be using it. To this day no one has showed up at their house or given them any trouble. After that night they had got security system and cameras installed.
