Light in the Dark
Even though you know today is going to be bad for you, please take care of yourself and just try to make something good out of it, for me, please. Just remember, for every bad thing that happens, there is a good thing that happens right after. Something good always comes from something bad. God promised us that, and God NEVER breaks his promises. Please try to have a good day, and at least smile or laugh once for me. I love you, I'll see you tomorrow.

The sweetest text I ever could have received, from my brother (not biologically or adopted or anything, we're just such good friends that we called each other our siblings) when I was having one of my worst days. Hope it helps someone else too in a time of need.
