Favorite Mistake
Mistakes happen for a reason… I consider all mistakes as things that weren’t supposed to happen. We make mistakes usually out of inexperience or for greed? Or maybe for some other reason.
I once had myself stealing something and I stole this WWE figure when they were VERY popular back then and I see my classmates having one of them and the most popular one is John Cena because that was his Era back then and I was one of those lonely people who doesn’t fit in much and I don’t have much friends and my interests are way different from American Children.
I didn’t have those Privileges and I didn’t experience those kinds of “Fun” that they’ve had and I always asked myself “Why can’t I get what they have?” My family is poor and can’t really afford anything that they have and my family ran away from the vietnam war that happened so we came here to get away from that horrible war.
No matter how much I asked, I couldn’t understand that they can’t get it no matter how much they want to buy it for me. When you want something really bad then you do irrational things to get it. So I stole their WWE Figures so that I was able to have friends now but it was the opposite that happened to me.. They’re not being tricked by me and they KNEW that I stole their WWE Figure so one day I asked “May I join you guys? I bought John Cena too” and I thought to myself that it was going to work but then my Classmate remembered his WWE John Cena figure not being found and then suddenly he got suspicious and asked “Can I check under your John Cena’s Shoe?” I replied “Sure” and I thought to myself “That is probably the biggest mistake in my life” and when he took it, He wouldn’t give it back so then finally School ended and then after school they started to steal my pencils and breaking them and started pushing me.
I fought back but then they said I started it and back then I didn’t have much friends and those kids were more charismatic than I was so then everyone believed that I did it which I didn’t but then I still got in trouble no matter how much I said “I didn’t do it” and this is the moment where I thought to myself “How did I get myself into this?”.
Week after week they treated me the same way that they started but then each day gets harder and harder. They start to mimic my voice and say bad things then the teacher would get me in trouble and since my parents are from another country they would give me long lectures and get me on 2 hour time out.
So after that I’ve learned my lesson and I returned their WWE figure of John Cena and they stopped bullying me and then I started focusing on my grades and they’ve improved but later on I’ve created friends that have the same things that they like just like myself so, don’t steal because the outcome will not be good. People will people will do irrational things just to get what they get and some people who steal will not become a nice person.

This Mistake taught me a good lesson and made me think about my life about which path I want to choose. Don't try to be something you're not.
