Tuesday night mom had asked me if I wanted to go to Walgreens and i said ¨ya¨. So we went, and when we got there, she wanted me to help her find her items for her hair color. After we had got her hair color we walked around the store then i told her i was gonna look at the makeup. At the time i was about 13 years old wearing a black shirt and blue pants . Earlier that day in class I couldn´t find my machincal pencil so i have asked a friend to let me borrow a pencil.

When i was done looking at the makeup i went over to look at the pencils and found like a pack of 3 or 4 machanical pencils. It was about $10 or $15, so i went to go ask my mom but she said ¨no¨. So i went back and decided i was going to be a badass and steal like 2 since i needed them for school.

So i did, but first i made sure no one was around me but at the same time i wasn´t trying to make it look suspicous. I looked around 2 times and a lady came up to me and asked ¨do you need help, or have you found everything ok?¨

I responed ,¨ ya, i found everything good.¨

So my mom came up to me and says ,¨ you know im not getting this for you right?¨

She walked away and I stayed there,  I looked around again and nobody was there so I got 2 machanical pencils from the pack, And I walked away to where my mom was.

And she payed for her items, as she payed for the items I thought to myself if she saw me take the pencils.

Later the next day I was with my brother, dad, and my mom. My brother and dad got out of the car, and my mom faced my direction and  told me ¨ I know you stole 2 machincal pencils.¨ My faced was shocked in confuseion. Thinking to myself how did she know?

So I told her ¨ I didn´t steal.¨ knowing damn well she probably spyed on me.

She reponded ¨I either tell your dad or you get you ipod taken away¨

At that time i had an ipod. So i was like “ight”

My dad came out from the building and i was just sitting there.

I was mad and sad because my mom had found out that I stole from the store.

My dad came in the car and stated, “ ok, I got everything we are going.”

I thought to myself ,” why didn’t i think of another strategy or stole some other time.”

Ive stole before I just didn’t think I would have gotten caught that time. Till this day I just laugh and think of how stupid stealing two machanical pencils from the store was.
