The dad I never had
When I was little,my biological dad abused me. I have had Post traumatic stress disorder for years after that.
I also wanted a new dad, one that would love me, but not hurt me physically or sexually. My step-dad always went to jail for some reason. As I was growing I had a very important person of almost everyone's life missing. I wanted a dad, that would spend time with me.
Eventually I realized why he was always in jail. So my step-dad and I, made a compromise. I had to behave like a young lady. while he stopped doing drugs and alcohol.
now I'm 17, my step-dad and me hang out with each other whenever we could. I have got what I wanted, a dad that would be with me, love, care about me, and not hurt me. My step-dad kept his side of the compromise.
I now have the step-dad I have always wanted.
