The End
There I was warming up for my match. We are dueling Muskego at team state, the last event of the season. We are down pretty bad, it doesn’t look like we are going to win this one.
This is the moment I have been dreading all year, the end, I don’t want it all to end, not yet.
I hear the match before me about to end. I start taking off my drenched warm-ups. The nerves pulsing through me was an experience out of this world. I knew this is where my four years ended. Everything on the line.
