¨I was inspired to play lacrosse when my grandma's neighbors were playing lacrosse outside. I asked if I could play, and they said sure. When I played with them, it made me feel happy. But what made me start to play lax goalie is in my 2nd or 3rd game of lacrosse. I played, and we didn't have a goalie so I offered to play. During that game, I remember when a kid on the other team came down the field and shot at me. That rush of making a save felt better than scoring a goal, so I knew from that point on that I wanted to be a lacrosse goalie. Today my favorite part about lacrosse is just hanging out with your teammates during tournaments. It's very special to me,  to hang out doing what you love over the summer with teammates.¨(Parsippany New Jersey)
