My Grand Heroes
My heroes are both of my grandpas. They were both pilots in the same squadron. One actually went to war in Vietnam and dropped napalm bombs, the other stayed home training, but never did go because he was the youngest brother and his older brothers were already in the war. One was a helicopter pilot and the other was in the army infantry. They both still flew during the Cold War keeping Russian planes out of American airspace. These days my grandpa from New Mexico built his own race car that goes an astounding two-hundred-four miles per hour and he is almost seventy years old! My other grandpa from Florida built his own biplane that he likes to fly in his free time. He also owns his own mechanic shop that fixes and sells lawnmowers and ATV's. They both were and are very successful and I hope to be like them.
