My  Hero

My hero is Fr. Steve.  I thought Fr. John was my favorite priest,

but he’s not.  I have listened to many of their homilies and Fr. John is great, but

as a person, I don’t connect with him as much as I do Fr. Steve.  I feel like

Fr. Steve understands the troubles and decisions I will have to face in life.

I would go to him if I needed help with my troubles.

When I alter serve for him I feel so engaged and want to come back to Mass.

As a priest at OLGC, Fr. Steve makes me feel more in touch with God.  If

Fr. Steve ever leaves, I would follow him wherever he went.  He really inspires

me to want to become a priest.  He has shown me a side of Christ I’ve never

seen with any other priest.  I do hope he stays at OLGC.  I really hope he will be

happy here at our parish.

Although my family are Notre Dame fans, I still respect Fr. Steve’s love for

the University of Michigan.  I hope to be as kind, outgoing and successful as

Fr. Steve.
