Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance is my hero. He is the greatest man that I have ever gotten to know, even if it’s just through Facebook. He has supported me through the whole process of me telling my mom that her Ex-Boyfriend Sexually abused me. He has been the only Father figure in my life. Between all the hardships he faced during his life, for example drug abuse. He conquered his demons and has been clean for 6 years and counting. His story gives me hope that one day I will be okay and that no matter what life throws at me I can overcome it and be a stronger person.
