The second person I wanted to tell you about was my grandma, my dad's mom. She is the hardest working person I have ever met and I look up to her so much. She is one of the strongest people I have ever met. She raised two kids by herself with no help and did it so well. She is the most caring person I have ever met and has always been there for me no matter what I needed. Let me tell you more about her.

didn't when my dad's dad left my grandma, she was left with two kids by herself with no help. She didn't come from a lot of money, so her parents were not much help. But instead of laying down and letting this all defeat her, she made it happen. She got 3 jobs and worked with her, but off to support my dad and my uncle. Now this did mean my dad and my uncle were home alone a lot and they had to grow up faster than other kids. But after a while, she got a good paying job and met her husband and they are still together to this day.

After time, her and her husband John, who I call my real grandpa because he has been there for me my whole life and is an amazing person, they started a trucking company and got started and did really well with that and sold it and my grandpa stuck with trucking and my grandma went in to health insurance. My grandpa John is the most amazing person too. He stepped up when my real grandpa wasn't there for my dad and did everything for my dad and was the father figure in my dad's life when he needed it but this is about my grandma, so back to her she stayed with selling health insurance and turned out to be really good at it. Now she is still doing it and she is one of the most hard working person I know and she has worked so hard that she is now a president for United Healthcare. 

I think the biggest thing I take away from her though is her work ethic and her drive to make the best out of the worst. No matter how hard times were, she kept her head and kept pushing and made sure that my dad and uncle had what they needed, always got them to school on time and did this all by herself and never complained about it, so that's why when things are bad I always think about her and say how it could be worse.

I know that this essay probably won't cover even half of all of the amazing things that she did for me, my dad and everyone. I just want her to know how much I care about her and how much she impacts my life and how much I look up to her. My life would not be the same without this woman. She is a second mom to me. No matter what happens, she will be there for me and if I ever need anything, I know that I can turn to her no matter how hard times get or what questions I have, she will have an answer to them or she will work with me, no matter what it is. I just want her to know I love her and make her proud. Same with my dad and my mom, they all mean so much to me and all I want to do is make them proud and go play college baseball.
