How to Improve Your Writing in Six Easy Steps
Most writers write everyday, all day. That’s a way to get better but you could also follow these easy steps.
Don’t write your paragraphs to long. If you do the reader can get confused easier.
REMEMBER: A paragraph can sometimes be one sentence, or a word?
See?
2. Don’t use words such as really, usually, and a lot. They can pull life out of your writing.
"I really like pancakes alot, I usually make them three times a week."
It’d be better to say “I like pancakes, and make them three times a week!”
3. Don’t blabber on forever, it can really bore your reader. Like the book I read the other day, it was actually really good. But I wouldn’t read it again or suggest it.
Yep, don’t do that…
4. Put some character in your writing.
EXAMPLE: “I believe animals are cool. “ or “Animals are unique because of their fun colors.”
5. Say your opinion as a fact.
“Purple is the best color.” Instead of “I think purple is the best color”
It will get your point out better.
6. Have a journal with you everywhere you go. You can add ideas you come up with on the go. Such as a world problem...or just your opinion.
These tips will help make your writing more entertaining and fun for your reader.
It will also make your writing better.
