Faking Snakes
A boy and a girl were arguing. Locked in a heated debate, to onlookers the phrase ?lovers? spat? came to mind. Eyes flashing, voices rising, and animated hand gestures to top it all off completed the picture.
They were partners for an event in a competition called Amphibians and Reptiles. Their opponents bustled about the room. He was trying to identify something while she answered questions.
After a moment, he points at it and says, ?Dominique, that doesn?t look like any snake I know.?
She glances up and sighs, ?That?s ?cause it has legs, Rei.?
