Maybe I Am A Tree?
Many trees have died today. I drive home and see many branches asunder--killed from the murderous winds that have escaped the grasp of the mother hurricane. I never thought the winds would reach Ohio to make a storm. It killed the trees and almost killed me--the dangling telephone wire waggled and threatened to land on my lover's car, and I panic as he drives under it. I'm afraid a pole will collapse and kill me. I come home safe after an hour long home coming partially due to waiting in line to get $10 worth gas: 2 measly gallons. Now it's 3 days later and we still have no power. This storm is killing me.
