Marshall Mathers III, also known by his stage name, Eminem, has released many albums throughout his career. One of the most famous of these is Recovery, which was his big step into the rap game. This album contains Rap, Hip Hop, electronic, and many others types of music.

After releasing “The Marshall Mathers LP”, Eminem has been showing Ameica his talents with his other albums like “The Slim Shady”, “The Eminem Show”, and “The Curtain Call”, which impressed everyone from young adolescents to senior citizens.

Themes in this album include never giving up and recovering from mistakes. Songs such as “Won’t Back Down”, “Not Afraid”, and You’re Never Over” back up these themes by representing them in the song lyrics.

“Cold Wind Blows” along with “Not Afraid” are the two main songs that appeal to Eminem fans the most because of the intriguing lyrics and up-beat temps. Along with these two songs “I Love The Way You Lie” is also a standout because of the featuring of Rihanna. Although, not all songs in “Recovery” are the best, like “Space Bound” which is one in particular that sags because of the slow tempo and boring background music.

In the end, Recovery, deserves a solid 8/10 stars because of the high quality songs, exciting guest stars and exquisite music to go with the creative lyrics.
