Like a Brother

You are the friend that will always be there for me. Who I go to with my problems because I feel you are trustworthy. You are the older brother I never had, because you take on more responsibility than I do, and I feel safer and happier when I’m with you. You asked me once if I had a crush on you and I said, “No,” But in my head I wanted to say, “I love you like a brother.” I regret not saying it but I did and still do feel that way, even when I know you don’t. You’re my best friend.
