Walking On
The scorching sun beating down on my back caused droplets of perspiration to fall from my neckline like raindrops subsiding from an umbrella. Cicada's symphony echoed through the forest foliage as humid gust of wind created ripples in Mill Pond's murky water. The rustle and bustle of hyperactive squirrel’s scurrying between bushes to find their brunch. As the tranquil stroll drew on, it helped my thoughts evade from the humdrum of society, even though the lively town was minutes away.
