Personally
This story starts at the end of 5th Grade at 3 pm on a sunny hot day. I had 2 friends, Luke and Nolan. I, Luke, and Nolan were bored this one day when we were all chilling at my house playing video games. But there was only one controller so all of us playing wasn't a possibility. So we decided to think of what to do. We ended up coming up with the idea of going to Nolan's house to hang out there. So we grabbed our bikes and rode down the hill to his house. We finally arrived so we put our bikes down and Nolan has a basketball hoop so we started to play. That soon got boring so we decided to think of something else. I started to look around and looked behind Nolan's house and realized there was a little farm with a bunch of equipment and us being young thought it was an amazing idea and a good place to ride our bikes. We grabbed our bikes and pushed them up the little hill through like 5 feet of woods and we were there. We set our bikes prompt up against this big trailer and started to explore. We headed across the gravel road and behind this little shed and saw this old john deer side by side. I and Luke started playing on this side by side that was all ripped up. We were also scared of being caught so we told Nolan to keep a lookout and say code red if he sees the farmer coming. About three minutes go by and Nolan peeks around the corner and YELLS CODE RED.
At first I and Luke thought he was joking until he said it again and said HE'S COMING. So I and Luke looked around the corner to see a four-wheeler flying down the hill with a big dust trail behind it. We started running back across the road to grab our bikes and get out of there. As I'm running I look to my right and see the farmer jump his fiance and run straight at us with a KNIFE. I grabbed my bike and Nolan grabbed him but Lukes bike got stuck in some chains that were on the trailer. So he said oh well left his bike and we took off down the hill to his house. But the distance from his house to the farm is only like 60 feet so not very far. I was the first one out of there because I was not getting caught. I ran across the road and threw my bike over the top of me over the hill. I peaked over the road to see Nolan and Luke stopped and the farmer talking to them still holding a knife in his hand. I peaked my head back down fast and thought of a quick plan to get out of there. It was either get up and bike away as fast as I can but he sees me or runs down the hill, cross the creek, end up on the road above and bike away without seeing me. So that's exactly what I did. I sprinted down the hill while pushing my bike and crossed this creek getting absolutely soaked and going up the hill and onto the street and biking as fast as I could to my house. I finally got my house out of breath and explained to my mom what just happened and all she could be a laugh. About 45 minutes go by and Luke and Nolan show up at my house because they were looking for me so I explained to them what I did. And asked them why they didn't run from the dude. All they said was I don't know. And then I asked them what the farmer said and they said the farmer said not to ever come back. So we chilled at my house and my mom made up smoothies and ate some cookies.
