10 Years From Now Where Will I Be?
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started”- Mark Twain. This quote symbolizes many things that people do in life including their dreams that they achieve. I want to be an entrepreneur in clothing and shoes, so basically in all of the wardrobe accessories. I don’t know why I want to be an entrepreneur but I do know that I like to explore my ideas that I come up with and I like to do everything my way. But there is something about being an entrepreneur that just makes me feel like I know I can do it and I love being in charge, especially if I know it will be a success. To do all of this I have to have a business degree, masters degree, and/or bachelor’s degree. "To be a successful entrepreneur, you need perseverance. Most successful business people or entrepreneurs have never given up on their idea¨ (Kehoe 14).
I want to become an entrepreneur because I want to create something no one has ever created before. I want to create many things like my own shoes, different types of clothes, and accessories. To do that I know I have to go to college to learn how to handle a business and learn about everything there is to a business. To be an entrepreneur you just need a business degree, bachelor's degree, and/or masters degree. You will mainly just need the business but if you want to learn more about businesses you would get all of the degrees. ¨Starting a business is not easy, and scaling it is even harder¨ (Heyward 3).
Now, with all of the reasons of being an entrepreneur the training is a lot but also not really hard because you have to know how to get an audience and keep that audience and get even more. By getting an audience you have to “WOW” them with anything you can. You can do that by having ads and also posting it on social media. Telling your friends to post your stuff too so that the soon “customers” will be able to order what they want from your store. So like I said I wouldn’t need to go to college if I could do all of that without a business degree. But I will need a business degree or more because I’m just a rookie and I want the best clothing business out there for everyone and for everyone to buy from. This connects to why I want to be an entrepreneur. You don’t really need school or have to do a + b= c.
Lastly, you need to know what you want to be an entrepreneur in before you take any classes. So you can have your own business, or help manage it, clothing business, beauty business, and a food business. I guess it can be anything and you put business in front of it, (just kidding) I don’t think you can do that. For all of the different businesses that you would like to do the pay for it is all different because many people wouldn’t shop at some business. But the pay for a clothing business is $68,000 per year but for a fashion entrepreneur it is $100,000 per year or more. There is a difference in the pay between a regular clothing business and the fashion business because very wealthy people like famous people would purchase the fashion clothes because that is what they wear and sum have their own designers. ¨It’s not about who’s first, it’s about who does it best, and best these days is the business that delivers the most value to the consumer¨ (Heyward 6).
Being an entrepreneur in clothing suits me best because I have a lot of style in all of my fits that I wear and I also love how people come up with their own ideas and they are making a ton of money by doing it. I know that I can come up with something by using my own brand and business and I can connect to teens my age because we all love shoes and hoodies and that will be the main thing that I will be having for my brand. It is also good to connect with your customers our age because you can ask what they like to buy or what is something different they would wear. The significance of being an entrepreneur in clothing is the art of it because you're creating different things for many people to wear. I will achieve these goals by going to college, getting my master’s degree, and while in college I will be looking for someplace to put my company and building it up from there and making tons of money. In the next 10 or 20 years I will have a beautiful family and we will be very wealthy and not have to worry about anything, and my company will be BOOMIN.
